Burners Lane

M&J and Alumasc collaborated with the Parks Trust for the complete replacement of the roof covering an area of 12,000m2 across industrial units that were in use.

This project involved removing the RAAC Decking and installing new metal decking over both warehouse and office spaces.

All roofing activities were carried out using Alumasc’s flame-free self-adhesive system. No open flame was used on-site, including during drying processes; instead, two E-Torch’s and Hot Air welders were utilised.

Approximately 8,000m2 of the roof area had solar PV systems installed along with a Co2-neutralizing olivine cap sheet. This approach rendered M&J’s roofing operations and associated travel carbon-neutral.
