These works were carried out for Leicestershire County Council as part of their roof maintenance program.
After meetings with the council and the school to discuss a program that suited all parties, M&J devised a method and program that caused the least disruption to the school. All stripping, felt and batten work was completed in the school summer holidays, allowing the replacement tiles to be installed after the summer holidays.
A tired and leaking roof was replaced with a new and water tight finish, which the school and the council were extremely happy with.
All works were completed with zero incidents, well under the estimated budget and with a very high quality finished installation. All operatives on this project came through the M&J training program and performed to a very high standard, receiving recognition from the school and council.
