Attention to detail was a must, given the building’s status in a conservation area. All slates had to be double lapped, with Klober dry ridge and hip details throughout. All re-used slates were positioned on the sections of roof that could be best viewed from the public (Front entrance, side section adjacent to main road etc).

M&J repointed and formed new lead details around the Bell Tower as part of the works, restoring it back to its original grand state. Lead detailing was also used on the plinths and valleys
All fascias and soffits were decorated alongside the re-roofing works.
