The Junior School undertook a critical roof replacement and facility enhancement project to address safety risks associated with its RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) roof deck. M&J coordinated the removal of the existing roof, installation of new metal sheet deck, and applied flame-free, high-performance waterproofing.
Beyond the roof, we removed asbestos, managed repairs, and enhanced the school’s infrastructure. Upgrades included new air conditioning units, re-routed electrical cabling, high-level window replacement and additional fire compartmentation for safety. These improvements were completed on time and within budget, minimising school disruption while delivering a safe, modernised learning environment.
The project provided the Junior School with a safe ACM-free environment and a durable, energy-efficient roofing system, reflecting the commitment to safety, efficiency and student well-being.
